Hello, my name is Elliot Hays.

I am a Social Worker focused on early education for individuals with autism. In my spare time I write this blog to inform people of the everyday challenges of being a home owner. In the beginning of the blog I focused on do it yourself projects but now I am branching out into other areas such as general adulting and the struggles that follow.

I am neurodivergent so keeping to one topic was always difficult. Now I will be writing on topics people would to know more about and whatever hyperfixation gets my attention that week. I hope to create a safe space that everyone feels welcome to join in on the conversation.
